Encourage Science Initiative is excited to announce the 2025 Research Grant designed to support STEM undergraduate research across Nigerian universities.
This initiative aims to empower young scholars, foster innovation, and strengthen research capacity at the undergraduate level.

Eligibility Criteria for the 2025 ESI Undergraduate Research Grant
- Must be a STEM undergraduate in a Nigerian University
- Must be in your final year of study by the application deadline
- Undergraduate project commencement must be between September 2025 and February 2026.
- Second-class upper CGPA upwards (with duly signed evidence)
- A personal statement is required, outlining your project, justification for grant consideration, and a detailed budget allocation (not exceeding 100,000 Naira), within a maximum of 250 words.
- Supporting letter from supervisor attesting your diligence, describing the project, and your ability to successfully execute the project”.
