Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) Nigeria is a subsidiary of Carifika Global in Canada with branches in the African and Caribbean Region that is dedicated to creating a harmonious and prosperous society globally.
Graduate Internship Employability Programme (GIEP) The Graduate Internship Employability Programme (GIEP) is an initiative of the Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) designed to enhance youth employability by bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical workplace experience.
The programme aims to equip recent graduates with relevant professional skills, industry exposure, and hands-on learning opportunities that improve their competitiveness in the labor market.
In response to the growing challenge of graduate unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria, CNSD developed the GIEP to provide structured internship placements, mentorship, and capacity-building support across key development sectors, including public health, community development, research, project management, and digital innovation.
The programme also seeks to strengthen local development systems by deploying talented graduates to support partner organizations and community-based initiatives.
Successful candidates will be placed with CNSD’s partner organizations in Makurdi, Benue State, where they will contribute to ongoing development programmes, gain practical field experience, and work closely with experienced professionals to deliver measurable social impact.
