Program Description
Olam Group is inviting applications for its 2026 Engineering Graduate Trainee Program designed to develop young engineering talents through hands-on training, mentorship, and structured career development within the company’s operations.
The Engineering Graduate Trainee Program is a 12-month intensive learning experience that equips fresh graduates with practical technical skills, on-the-job exposure, and leadership capabilities. Trainees will gain experience across Olam’s manufacturing, processing, and technical operations while working with experienced industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical rotations across production, maintenance, automation, and quality control.
- Support engineering teams in plant operations, equipment troubleshooting, and performance improvement.
- Contribute to projects involving efficiency optimization, safety, and process enhancements.
- Learn Olam’s operational standards, systems, and engineering best practices.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to work across various locations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- HND/B.Eng/B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 2:2 /Lower Credit.
NYSC Certificate Required - Knowledge of AutoCAD/ Automation (Bonus academic only)
- Age 27 or below
- Flexible to work in any location within Nigeria
- 0–2 years of work experience.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in any assigned Olam location.
