2026 WHO Internship in Germany
The WHO Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain international work experience within one of the world’s leading public health organizations.

- Monthly living allowance of up to €1,488 (for interns who are not German citizens).
- Monthly living allowance of up to €684 (for interns residing in Berlin)

Internship Responsibilities
The selected intern will support the Collaborative Analysis team by:
- Assisting with collaborative intelligence and health analysis projects.
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing health-related data.
- Conducting literature reviews and background research.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and technical documents.
- Supporting projects related to pandemic and epidemic intelligence.
- Participating in meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contributing to data-driven decision-making for global health emergencies.
Eligibility Criteria for the 2026 WHO Internship in Germany
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 20 years of age at the time of application.
- Be a citizen of a WHO Member State.
- Be enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, enrolled in a master’s or PhD program, or have graduated within the last six months.
- Have a background in public health, epidemiology, statistics, data science, medicine, health informatics, international relations, social sciences, or another relevant field.
- Be proficient in English. Knowledge of another WHO official language is an advantage.
- Not have previously participated in the WHO Internship Program.
