  • Global Leadership

Fellowship Categories (Choose One)

Fully Funded Fellowship (Top Option)

  • Mentorship and leadership training
  • 6-month professional placement in Africa
  • Full tuition coverage
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Accommodation covered

Best For:

  • Young professionals
  • Individuals passionate about leadership, policy, and research

Sudanese Women Fellowship (Special Track)

A non-degree programme based in Nairobi for Sudanese women working in peacebuilding.

Deadline: 24 May 2026

Partial Funding for African Students
Associate Fellowship Bursary

Includes:

  • 25% tuition support
  • £5,000 living allowance

For applicants seeking the MSc in Global Leadership & Peacebuilding.

Global South Bursary

Same benefits as the Associate Fellowship Bursary, but open to applicants from all Global South countries, not only Africa.

Important Application Steps (Read Carefully)

For most programmes (especially the fully funded and bursary tracks), you must apply in two places:

  1. Apply through King’s College London
  • Select “Peace & Security Fellowship”
  • Do not select MSc directly
  1. Apply separately through the ALC Nairobi portal

Missing one application may make your application invalid.

Who Should Apply?

You are a strong candidate if you:

  • Are African (especially for the fully funded option)
  • Have completed a degree or are finishing one
  • Care about leadership, peacebuilding, governance, development, or security
  • Want global exposure and an impact-driven career

Honest Advice

  • The fully funded fellowship is highly competitive, but absolutely worth applying for if you meet the requirements.
  • If funding is a challenge, avoid depending only on the partial bursary options unless you can cover the remaining costs.
