About the Airtel Africa Fellowship / 2025 Airtel Fellowship Program
Airtel Africa Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Airtel Africa plc—a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services across 14 African countries—launched the Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship.
The program is designed to support young Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education in STEM fields, aiming to increase the proportion of African youth with advanced tech skills and nurture the next generation of tech leaders on the continent.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Airtel Africa Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an undergraduate admitted into a participating public university in Nigeria.
- Be a 100-level (new entrant) student.
- Not currently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, or grant for the same purpose.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Possess 5 credits in O’Level examinations (including English and Mathematics) in one sitting.
- Provide JAMB results, an admission letter, School ID card, and WAEC certificate for shortlisting.
- Achieve a minimum of 230 in JAMB.
