Job Description
The Federal Government of Nigeria, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is recruiting 5,000 young Nigerians for the Power Force Programme under the Presidential Metering Initiative (PMI).
Selected participants will receive structured technical training in meter installation and maintenance, facilitated by NAPTIN and certified by NEMSA.
The programme addresses Nigeria’s 5 million meter deficit while creating employment opportunities for Nigerian youths.
5000 Young Power Force Training Programme
Applications are now open for the 5000 Young Power Force Programme, a Federal Government-backed initiative aimed at training 5,000 young Nigerians as Meter Installers and Technicians for Nigeria’s power sector.
The programme is designed to equip participants with practical technical skills needed for meter installation and related field operations while creating a pool of deployable technicians for electricity distribution companies (DISCOs) across the country.
About the Programme
The Young Power Force Programme is a short-term technical training initiative focused on developing skilled manpower for Nigeria’s electricity and metering industry.
Participants will undergo intensive practical training designed to prepare them for opportunities within the power sector, particularly in metering installation and technical support roles.
