1. Graduate Process Safety and Risk Engineer (Innovation & Sustainability)

About the Role:

This role is part of Roche’s Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS). Interns will contribute to Project Bloom, a digital initiative aimed at improving breast health awareness and access to screening in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review behavioral science research to support Project Bloom
  • Map stakeholders across clinical and community health systems
  • Design culturally relevant health education content
  • Develop user journeys and UI/UX mock-ups (Figma)
  • Support data tracking, KPIs, and impact measurement
  • Facilitate focus groups and analyze feedback

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (completed or ongoing within last 12 months) in Public Health, Digital Health, Behavioral Science, or related fields
  • Interest in UX/UI design, research, and digital health
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English (local languages are an advantage)

2. Internship in Innovation & Sustainability (Medical Laboratory Science)

About the Role:

Interns will support a national pilot project focused on cervical cancer prevention by integrating HPV testing into existing HIV laboratory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training on sample collection and preservation
  • Monitor laboratory workflows and sample logistics
  • Support testing processes and result tracking
  • Manage inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance
  • Document operational challenges and improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed within last 12 months) in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fields
  • Knowledge of molecular lab techniques and sample handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
