Job Description

Are you a young leader passionate about promoting democracy, human rights, and fundamental freedoms?

The Youth Democracy Network (YDN) invites you to join our global community of change-makers!

YDN provides resources and opportunities for young people to create meaningful change in their communities and engage with decision-makers. Applications are now open for the Africa and Europe cohort, offering a unique platform to:

  • Connect: Network with like-minded peers from across the region.
  • Learn: Engage in civic education and leadership development programs.
  • Grow: Access international networking and capacity-building opportunities.
  • Engage: Participate in regional meetings and workshops.
  • Innovate: Apply for mini-grants to support youth-led democratic initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be aged between 18 and 32 at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be actively engaged in civil society, a political party, academia, or the private sector.
  • Applicants must be from the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, or Europe and Eurasia.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to democratic values.
  • A good command of English is required.
