Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship 2026 for Next-generation Leaders

AYF welcomes next-generation leaders who aspire to tackle both regional revitalization and global challenges.

The AYF Fellowship Program is designed for individuals with prior professional experience who wish to grow rapidly and achieve significant advancement in a short period.

The Awaji Youth Fellowship is a 9-month live-in working and training program on Awaji Island.

This is a popular Exchange Program in Japan where Participants from different countries come to one place and fulfill the needs of the Japanese workplace. Fellows will work on projects related to regional revitalization.

The Awaji Youth Federation (AYF) provides hands-on learning through lectures and field practice related to Natureverse* on Awaji Island.

We aim to cultivate diverse talents equipped with advanced knowledge and skills, serving as a bridge for regional revitalization that transcends national boundaries.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The AYF Fellowship is open to all Nationals.
  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and some previous work experience.
  • Commitment to solving society’s problems and contributing to our projects.
  • Core values of hard work, discipline, and care for others
  • Proof of IELTS or any other Language Test is not required.

The Benefits Include:

  • Monthly Salary (Base: ¥190,000 + Work allowance: ¥30,000)
  • All Government fees and taxes are covered.
  • Accommodation & Meals covered
  • The room will be provided in either Japanese or Western style
  • Utility costs such as electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
