Job Description

Applications are now open for the 2026 Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) Internship at BP. This 12-month full-time internship offers recent graduates an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the fast-paced world of global energy trading, shipping, and international commerce.

As part of the Marketing and Origination Team, successful candidates will work alongside experienced professionals across locations including Lagos, London, Luanda, and Accra. Interns will gain exposure to trade finance, shipping operations, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis—building a strong foundation for a future career in energy and commodities trading.

What You’ll Do

  • Support trading and shipping operations across multiple markets
  • Assist with market research, analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to customer-focused commercial solutions
  • Manage tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.2
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields
  • Have graduated between January 2023 and December 2025
  • Be a Nigerian citizen
  • Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, and digital fluency
