The Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) Tech Startup Pitch Competition 2025 is now open for applications, giving young Nigerian founders and innovators the opportunity to compete for a share of a $25,000 prize pool.
Powered by Superteam Nigeria in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and delivered by Sapphital, the competition is designed to back bold, youth-led tech startups with the resources, visibility, and support they need to scale.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18–35 years old
- Must currently reside in Nigeria
- Only tech startups with at least two co-founders are eligible (no solo entries)
- Applicants must have a completed NiYA community profile
- Applicants must hold a course completion certificate from NiYA

- Application Deadline: September 30, 2025
- Winners Announced: First week of October 2025
- Prize Disbursement: Winners will receive their awards immediately after the announcement
