The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) is a dynamic institution dedicated to excellence in teaching, learning, and research. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following Academic Staff Positions positions:
Graduate Assistant:
- Requires a First Degree with First-Class or Second-Class Upper Division.
Assistant Lecturer:
- Requires an Academic Master’s Degree.
Lecturer II:
- Requires a Ph.D. or Master’s Degree with relevant experience and professional certification.
Lecturer I:
- Requires a Ph.D. with at least 5 publications and 3 years of post-qualification experience, or a Master’s Degree with 7 publications and 5 years of cognate experience.
Senior Lecturer:
- Requires a Ph.D. with 10 publications and 6 years of relevant experience.
Associate Professor:
- Requires a Ph.D. with 15 publications, 9 years of cognate experience, and must be the lead author in at least 5 publications.
Professor:
- Requires a Ph.D. with 20 publications, 12 years of cognate experience, and must be the lead author in at least 10 publications.
Note: For all academic positions other than Graduate Assistant, candidates must possess a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division at the undergraduate level in addition to a postgraduate qualification.
