• Senior Programme Officer – Cohorts & Stakeholder Engagement
• Senior Programme Officer – Data Science
• Senior Programme Finance Specialist

Senior Programme Officer – Cohorts & Stakeholder Engagement

The Senior Programme Officer will oversee the coordination and management of programme cohorts while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role includes planning programme activities, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes, supporting research teams, and maintaining effective communication with partners and beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage programme cohorts and ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates and reports.
• Support the design and improvement of programme frameworks and strategies.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong experience in programme management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.

Senior Programme Officer – Data Science

The Senior Programme Officer for Data Science will support the implementation of data-driven programmes, guide research teams on data methodologies, and contribute to the foundation’s vision of strengthening scientific data ecosystems in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance in data science, analytics, and research methodologies.
• Oversee data-related programme activities and ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with research institutions and partners on data-focused projects.
• Support training initiatives and capacity-building in data science.
• Monitor and evaluate project deliverables and outputs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong background in data analysis, research, and programme management.
• Proficiency in relevant data tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Senior Programme Finance Specialist

The Senior Programme Finance Specialist will manage financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance for programmes within the foundation. This role ensures that programme finances are aligned with donor requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage programme budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, donor guidelines, and internal policies.
• Track expenditures and provide timely financial reports.
• Support financial audits and risk assessments.
• Work closely with programme teams to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Strong experience in programme financial management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
