Job Description

The University of Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships are among the most prestigious awards offered to outstanding international postgraduate researchers.

These scholarships recognize exceptional academic talent and support scholars who make invaluable contributions to Warwick’s vibrant, global community of world-leading researchers.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Warwick is set to allocate up to £5 million to fund 42 exceptional international PhD applicants through the Chancellor’s International Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  • Apply for a PhD program at the University of Warwick, beginning in October 2026.
  • Be classified as an “overseas” student for fee purposes (no nationality restrictions).
  • Apply for a PhD in any discipline offered at Warwick.
  • Note: Scholarships cannot be deferred to the following academic year.

  • Full payment of tuition fees (for 3.5 years)
  • Annual maintenance stipend of £21,300 (UKRI rate)
