The Christopher Kolade Foundation (CKF) SHE Soars Scholarship provides need-based financial support and mentorship to female graduates of Nigerian public secondary schools who have gained admission into a public university in Nigeria.

This scholarship offers an annual award of ₦300,000 to help cover the cost of tuition, books, and living expenses, empowering young women to pursue their academic dreams and achieve their full potential.

About the Christopher Kolade Foundation SHE Soars Scholarship

Launched in 2019, the CKF SHE Soars Scholarship Program was established to make postsecondary education accessible for girls from low-income families across Nigeria.

In addition to financial sponsorship, the program provides mentorship opportunities by connecting scholars with successful women in various professions — fostering both personal and professional growth.

Currently, there are 26 SHE Soars Scholars enrolled in 14 universities across Nigeria, studying disciplines such as Medicine and Surgery, Mechatronics Engineering, Physiotherapy, Aeronautics, Astronautic Engineering, Agricultural Extension, Psychology, Law, and Accounting.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Christopher Kolade Foundation SHE Soars Scholarship 2025, applicants must:

  • Be female graduates of a Nigerian public secondary school.
  • Have verifiable proof of admission into a Nigerian public tertiary institution.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Annual Award: ₦300,000 per student.
  • Coverage: Tuition, books, and a modest living stipend.
  • Duration: The sponsorship covers the entire duration of the student’s undergraduate program (typically 4–6 years, depending on the course of study).
