Job Description

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and the kind of person who notices when a spreadsheet doesn’t quite add up? We’re looking for a Data Management Assistant to join our team and help keep our information accurate, organised, and up to date.

This is a practical role for someone who enjoys working with data, spreadsheets, digital systems, and structured processes. You’ll play an important part in making sure our teams can rely on the information they use every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Finding and correcting errors, duplicate records, and inconsistencies.
  • Carrying out regular data validation and quality checks.
  • Organising digital files, records, and documentation.
  • Supporting data imports, exports, and system updates.
  • Collecting and consolidating information from different sources.
  • Preparing and formatting spreadsheets, reports, and data summaries.
  • Tracking outstanding data tasks, updates, and missing information.
  • Maintaining accurate customer, employee, operational, or business records.
  • Researching missing or inconsistent information and updating records where necessary.
  • Following established data management processes and internal guidelines.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
  • Supporting team members with administrative and data-related requests.
  • Completing tasks on time without compromising accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is methodical, dependable, and comfortable working independently. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you should be confident using computers and digital tools and willing to learn new systems quickly.

You’ll be a strong fit if you:

  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Are highly organised and good at managing your time.
  • Are confident using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Are comfortable working with databases and digital information systems.
  • Can handle data entry accurately, even when working with large volumes of information.
  • Naturally notice missing information, errors, and inconsistencies.
  • Have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can handle repetitive tasks without allowing the quality of your work to drop.
  • Follow instructions and established processes carefully.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality.
  • Can work independently while still being a supportive team member.
  • Take a proactive and reliable approach to your work.

  • The ability to stay productive and organised while working remotely.
  • A reliable internet connection and a suitable home-working setup.
