About the Graduate Trainee Programme

The DFC Holdings Graduate Trainee Programme (GTP) is a six-month intensive learning and development journey designed to nurture young professionals and prepare them for leadership roles within the DFC ecosystem.

Participants will undergo structured classroom learning, hands-on project experience, and departmental rotations across DFC’s diverse subsidiaries.

This program is a gateway for ambitious graduates to gain exposure to real business challenges, develop essential leadership and technical skills, and ultimately secure a place in one of DFC’s business units after successful completion.

Programme Structure

The Graduate Trainee Programme combines:

  1. Classroom Learning: Foundational business, communication, and leadership modules.
  2. Rotations: Exposure to multiple DFC business units including Real Estate, Finance, Technology, and Energy.
  3. Mentorship: Guidance from senior DFC executives and professionals throughout the programme.
  4. Projects: Real-life assignments designed to test creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Performance Evaluation: Continuous feedback and performance reviews to support professional growth.

Eligibility & Requirements

To be considered for the DFC Graduate Trainee Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum grade of Second Class Lower (2:2) or its equivalent.
  • Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
  • Be not more than 27 years old at the time of application.
  • Have no more than 2 years of post-NYSC work experience.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Display a strong passion for innovation, learning, and career development.
