EERC Graduate Internship 2025 – Environmental and Economic Resource Centre
The 2025 call for internship seeks to leverage evidence-based research in the Nigerian agricultural sector to support policy review and formulation, particularly on climate change and food security.
As a result, EERC is inviting qualified candidates for an internship. This year’s call for internship opportunities will support early career scientists to conduct research in any of the following thematic areas:
- Climate change and food security
- Climate-smart agriculture, carbon markets, and green finance
- Agricultural value chain, Food loss, and food waste

Eligibility Requirements for the EERC Graduate Internship 2025
To be considered for this internship, applicants must:
- Hold at least a BSc degree or MSc degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or Climate Change, with no more than five years post-graduation experience.
- Demonstrate strong interest in research, policy, or field-based project implementation
- Be available for the full duration of the three-month internship
- Possess good communication, analytical, and writing skills
- Be willing to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary research team
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will receive the following as personal benefits:
