About the Summit
The Ekiti Scholarship Summit, the first of its kind in Nigeria, will bring together over 1,000 participants, including mentors, stakeholders, institutions, current students, and recent graduates from Ekiti State. The summit will expose attendees to the essentials of securing global scholarship opportunities.
The Ekiti Scholarship Summit is a transformative, two-day event designed to empower students, inspire innovation, and shape the educational future of Ekiti State. Scheduled to take place January 23–24, 2026, this summit brings together thought leaders, educators, scholarship bodies, youth-focused organizations, and aspiring students for a powerful exchange of ideas and opportunities.
Hosted in collaboration with the Muyiwa Igbalajobi Foundation and Scholarships Cafe, the event provides a platform for Ekiti youth to access valuable information, develop new skills, and connect with organizations committed to educational development.
This program complements the strides being made by the @biodunaoyebanji-led government in education, and we are thrilled to have already secured the participation of some of our partners, including the University of Texas at Dallas, United States, and the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada.
