Federal Government Opens Applications for Free Solar PV Installation Training for Nigerians

Job Description
The Federal Government, in collaboration with Siemens Energy and the German development agency, GIZ, has opened applications for a free Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installation Training Programme for professionals, technicians, graduates, undergraduates, and young people interested in building careers in the renewable energy sector.
The training is offered under the Siemens Energy Education and Development (SEED) Project and supported by the Nigerian Energy Support Programme, a technical assistance programme co-funded by the European Union and the German Government and implemented by GIZ.
About the Free Solar Installation Training
The programme is designed to equip participants with practical and technical skills in Solar Photovoltaic Installation through a combination of:
- Theoretical instruction
- Hands-on practical sessions
- Technical site visits
- Competency assessments
Participants who successfully complete the training will receive COREN certification.
The training will be conducted onsite over three weeks, so applicants must be available to attend the programme in person at their selected training location.

Eligibility Requirements
