The Federal Ministry of Works (FMW) is a key arm of the Federal Government of Nigeria responsible for the planning, development, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of federal roads, bridges, and other public infrastructure across the country. The Ministry plays a vital role in supporting national development by ensuring the availability of safe, durable, and efficient transportation infrastructure.

The Federal Ministry of Works is recruiting unemployed graduates and skilled artisans across Nigeria under its Capacity Building & On-Site Training Programme.

Available Roles:

Graduate Engineers (Nationwide):

• Graduate Civil Engineer
• Graduate Mechanical Engineer
• Graduate Electrical Engineer

Skilled Artisan Positions (Nationwide):

• Mason
• Carpenter
• Steel Reinforcement Worker
• Plumber
• Welding & Fabrication Worker
• Surveying Assistant
• Electrical Installation Worker
• Heavy Equipment Operation
• Worker

Requirements:

• Be Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 35 years
• Possess a BSc, BEng, BA, or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Be unemployed at the time of application
• Have NYSC completion, exemption, or exclusion certificate
