The Federal University Dutse (FUD) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for employment into various faculties and departments of the university.
Academic Staff Positions
- Graduate Assistant – Requires a First Degree with First Class.
- Assistant Lecturer – Requires a Master’s Degree, LL.B/BL, or allied medical degrees plus internship and recognized professional certificate.
- Lecturer II – Requires Ph.D. or Master’s Degree with relevant experience/certifications. MBBS or BDS holders must have full registration.
- Lecturer I – Requires Ph.D. with at least 5 publications + 3 years’ post-qualification experience, or Master’s with 7 publications + 5 years’ experience.
- Senior Lecturer – Requires Ph.D. with 10 publications + 6 years’ experience.
- Associate Professor – Requires Ph.D. with 15 publications + 9 years’ experience, lead author in at least 5 publications.
- Professor – Requires Ph.D. with 20 publications + 12 years’ experience, lead author in at least 10 publications.

Scientist, Technologist, Technician – Requires a good Degree, HND, or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or Science Laboratory Technology.
Note: “Ph.D. and its equivalent” also refers to Medical Postgraduate Fellowships (FWCP, FMCP, etc.).
Except for Graduate Assistant, all candidates must have at least Second Class Lower (Undergraduate) in addition to a postgraduate degree.
