Key Features of the Scholarship
- Application Process: Unlike many scholarships, students cannot apply directly to the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program. The application must be submitted by the French higher education institution they wish to attend. Therefore, interested candidates must first apply to their chosen French university or school. The institution then selects its best candidates and submits their applications to Campus France for consideration. A candidate may only be submitted by one institution; applications submitted by multiple institutions will be automatically disqualified.
- Eligibility Requirements: The scholarship is reserved for non-French citizens. Individuals with dual nationality, one of which is French, are not eligible.
- Master’s Level: Applicants must be no older than 27 years of age. They must not currently be studying in France at the time of application.
- Ph.D. Level: Applicants must be no older than 32 years of age. Priority is given to students currently residing abroad over those already in France
