• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 per month

About the Role

• We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer with a solid foundation in JavaScript (JS) and TypeScript (TS), and hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.
• Familiarity with Livewire and PHP is an added advantage.
• You will play a key role in creating seamless, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces that integrate smoothly with backend systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Front End Developer at TGM Education

• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using Vue.js or React.js.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers and designers to implement dynamic user experiences.
• Build and optimize responsive UIs for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services.
• Work with Livewire (and possibly Laravel) to build reactive and interactive interfaces when applicable.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js or React.js frameworks.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling.
• Experience using Git and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, npm, yarn, etc.).
• Basic understanding or experience with PHP.
• Exposure to Livewire and/or Laravel Blade templates is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Laravel ecosystem or other PHP frameworks.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or Laravel Dusk).
• Understanding of state management (Vuex, Pinia, Redux).
• UI/UX sensitivity and ability to translate designs into functional code.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
