About Us

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Paris Climate Agreement and Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and committed to the landscape approach. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.

About the Program

The GLF Internship Program provides hands-on experience working with an international team dedicated to creating a more sustainable and equitable future. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects, gain practical skills, and collaborate with experts in various fields across the GLF network.

Available Internship Roles

Candidates can apply to work in any of the following focus areas:

  • Youth in Landscapes (YIL): Support youth-centered initiatives, campaigns, and community projects that drive environmental leadership.
  • Social Media & Events Communications: Assist with content creation, digital storytelling, online engagement, and communication for global events.
  • Partnerships: Work with global partners, support relationship-building activities, and contribute to strategic engagement efforts.
  • Knowledge: Help develop research-based content, knowledge products, reports, and learning materials.
  • GLFx Network: Support community-led sustainability hubs across the world and strengthen global network connections.
