Job Description:
As a Surfer Pilot (OOW Deck), you will be responsible for:
- Navigating, preparing, and maneuvering the vessel, including managing emergency situations.
- Supervising the transfer of passengers and cargo.
- Ensuring the vessel’s cleanliness, tidiness, and routine maintenance.
- Enforcing compliance with Bourbon and client policies and procedures.
- Motivating personnel to adhere to policies by providing training, information, and conducting emergency drills.
- Managing crew operations and facilitating training.
- Reporting technical or operational incidents to management as necessary.
- Ensuring the bridge is sufficiently manned at all times, considering prevailing conditions and safe manning principles.
- Providing regular reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly) as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Required Certifications: OOW Deck (NCV/Unlimited), STCW Certifications (as applicable).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Deck Officer or Surfer Pilot.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree, B.Sc., or HND in a relevant field.
