Job Description
HBM Nigeria Skills Training Programmes 2026 for Women and Persons with Disabilities in Lagos, Ogun & Cross River
HBM Nigeria Plc is inviting applications for a series of practical vocational skills training programmes designed to equip women and persons with disabilities with employable and income-generating skills.
The opportunities are available across Lagos, Ogun and Cross River States and include the Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme 2026 and the Disability to Ability (D2A) Programme 2026.
The Female Tilers & Block-Laying programme provides young women with practical training in construction trades, while the D2A Programme provides persons with disabilities in Lagos with training across technology, beauty and vocational crafts.
Available Programmes
1. Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme – Lagos State
HBM Nigeria, in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development and Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), is inviting young women in Lagos to apply for practical training in tiling, masonry and construction site safety.
Eligibility
- Female applicants
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old
- Minimum qualification of SSCE
- Must be based in Lagos State

Wall & Floor Tiling
Participants will receive practical exposure to the skills involved in installing tiles on walls and floors. The training provides a foundation for working on residential, commercial and other building projects.
Skills covered can include:
- Preparing walls and floors for tiling
- Measuring surfaces and planning tile layouts
- Cutting and fitting tiles
- Applying tile adhesives
- Maintaining proper alignment and spacing

Block-Laying and Masonry

- Female applicants
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old
- Minimum qualification of SSCE
- Must be based in Ogun State
Training Areas
- Wall & Floor Tiling
- Block-Laying (Masonry)
- Construction Site Safety
Participants will receive practical exposure to tile installation, masonry, construction measurements, handling of tools and materials, and workplace safety.

3. Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme – Cross River State
HBM Nigeria is also inviting applications from eligible women based in Cross River State for its Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme.

HBM Nigeria is implementing the programme in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development and the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).
