Healthnomics Research & Communication Internship 2026

Job Description
Healthnomics is offering a 6-month Research & Communication Internship for students and recent graduates who are passionate about healthcare innovation, research, and storytelling in Africa.
Interns will support the creation of evidence-based content, research-driven articles, and digital communications that contribute to shaping conversations within the African health sector.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will:
- Produce 6–10 high-quality, research-based blog articles
- Conduct literature reviews and stakeholder interviews
- Support development of content focused on healthcare innovation
- Manage social media (for assigned intern), including graphics, captions, and short videos
- Collaborate with team members on content creation and communication strategy
Requirements
- Strong writing and storytelling skills (prior research experience is an advantage but not required)
- Ability to conduct research and synthesize information effectively
- Highly motivated, committed, and proactive
- Strong innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Open to 3rd year–final year undergraduates or recent graduates
- Background in health-related fields is preferred but not compulsory
- Ability to commit approximately 5 hours per week for 6 months
- Basic Canva or design skills are an added advantage
