About the Program

The Heineken Global Graduate Program is a three-year career development journey designed to prepare graduates for future leadership roles.

The program includes:

  • Three structured rotations of six months each
  • Functional training in your chosen business area
  • Cross-functional exposure within Nigeria
  • International assignment outside Nigeria
  • Final 18-month landing role in Nigeria
  • Mentorship, leadership development, and global graduate community exposure

Program Structure

Rotation 1: Functional Foundation in Nigeria

You will begin in Nigerian Breweries, where you will gain a strong foundation in your chosen function, understand the business, learn the company’s culture, and begin contributing to real projects.

Rotation 2: Cross-Functional Assignment in Nigeria

You will continue in Nigeria but move into a cross-functional assignment. This helps you understand how other business areas connect and how the company works as one system.

Rotation 3: International Assignment

You will take on an international assignment designed to build your global mindset, cultural adaptability, and exposure to HEINEKEN’s operations outside Nigeria.

Landing Role

After the rotations, you will spend the next 18 months in a role within Nigerian Breweries, where you will apply what you have learned and continue growing toward leadership.

General Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of five O’Level credits in WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, or IGCSE
  • O’Level credits must include Mathematics, English, and three other relevant subjects
  • Minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Maximum of one year post-graduation experience
  • English language proficiency is essential
  • Must have the right to work in Nigeria
  • Must be globally mobile and willing to take up international assignments
