As part of our expansion and field operations, we are recruiting smart, reliable, and energetic young graduates to support research, community engagement, and field data collection activities.

Location: Imo State, Bayelsa State & Abia State

Job Summary

  • We are looking for Graduate Trainees to support our field operations team in conducting site visits, collecting structured data, engaging with businesses and communities, and assisting with energy audit activities across assigned locations.
  • This role is ideal for young graduates who are proactive, tech-savvy, willing to learn, and comfortable working in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits and data collection activities
  • Gather and document business and community energy information
  • Support site assessments and basic energy audit processes
  • Capture clear field photos and accurate location data
  • Engage professionally with business owners and community stakeholders
  • Submit daily/weekly reports using mobile data collection tools
  • Support operational and research activities assigned by supervisors

Requirements for the ICE Solar Graduate Trainee Program 2026

  • Must currently reside in Imo State, Bayelsa State or Abia State
  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using smartphones, Google Forms/AppSheet, or similar tools
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel within assigned areas
  • Ability to follow instructions and submit accurate reports
  • Must be reliable, organized, and responsive

Preferred Qualities

  • Previous internship, NYSC, volunteer, or field experience is an advantage
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, research, or community development
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
