Applications are now open for the Kellogg’s Superstars Scholarship Competition 8.0, a nationwide educational initiative offering scholarships to children between the ages of 5 and 12 across Nigeria.

Through the 2026 edition of the competition, 150 children will each have the opportunity to win a ₦150,000 scholarship to support their education.

About the Kellogg’s Superstars Scholarship Competition

The Kellogg’s Superstars Scholarship Competition is an initiative by Kellogg’s Nigeria aimed at supporting the education of children while giving young participants an opportunity to express their ideas, creativity and aspirations.

The competition forms part of Kellogg’s broader Superstars initiative focused on nurturing and encouraging the next generation of Nigerian children.

For Competition 8.0, the programme is open nationwide, giving eligible children across Nigeria the opportunity to participate.

Who Can Participate?

Competition Essay

To participate, applicants are required to write an essay titled:

“The Secret to Becoming a Superstar”

The essay must contain a minimum of 300 words.

  5. Successful participants stand a chance to receive ₦150,000 towards their education.

Selection

Entries are assessed as part of the scholarship competition, with creativity identified among the selection criteria.

Applicants should therefore ensure that their essays are original, thoughtful and clearly written rather than simply treating the exercise as a routine application.

Scholarship Award

A total of 150 children will be selected to receive:

  • ₦150,000 in scholarship support per child.
