Applications are now open for the Lagos State Employability Support Project (LSESP) Phase III, a free skills development programme designed to equip Lagos residents with practical, employable, and business-focused skills.

The initiative is implemented by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) in partnership with the Lagos State Government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to improve employability, promote entrepreneurship, and support economic growth across the state.

About the Programme

The Lagos State Employability Support Project (LSESP) Phase III provides practical, hands-on training in high-demand sectors that align with the needs of today’s workforce and business environment.

The programme focuses on helping participants acquire marketable skills that can lead to employment, self-employment, or business expansion.

Training areas include:

  • Digital Skills
  • Leather Works
  • Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
  • MSME Capacity Building

About LSETF

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was established by the Lagos State Government to create employment opportunities, support entrepreneurship, develop workforce capacity, and reduce unemployment across Lagos State.

Through various training, funding, and enterprise support programmes, LSETF has empowered thousands of young people and business owners with skills and resources needed for sustainable economic growth.

LSESP Phase III is delivered in collaboration with the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
