Job Description
The Network of Youth for Sustainable Initiative (NGYouthSDGs) is inviting applications from young Nigerians to join the Youth Voice Naija Project, an initiative focused on strengthening youth participation and leadership inshaping and monitoring Nigeria’s National Youth Policy (2026–2030).
The project seeks passionate young people who are interested in research, youth participation and community engagement and want to help ensure that young people’s voices are represented in national youth policy.
What Youth Researchers Will Do
Selected Youth Researchers will support:
- Conducting one-on-one interviews with young people
- Reaching out to and engaging participants
- Collecting and documenting research data
- Capturing young people’s experiences, perspectives and needs
Eligibility
Applicants should:
- Be 18–35 years old
- Have an interest in research and youth participation
- Have good communication and active listening skills
- Be connected to young people in their communities
- Be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for digital data collection
- Be available to participate in research training and fieldwork
Location: Nationwide – All 36 States and Abuja FCT
What Selected Researchers Will Receive
Selected Youth Researchers will receive:
- Research training
- Fieldwork stipend
- An opportunity to contribute to evidence-based youth policy development in Nigeria
