Applications are now open for the NLNG 2026 Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme, designed to support bright Basic Six pupils from NLNG host communities in Rivers State through their secondary school education. Aimed at supporting high-performing Basic Six pupils from public primary schools in Rivers State, the PPSS is part of NLNG’s commitment to social investment in education. This scheme offers a pathway to quality secondary education, especially for indigene pupils in NLNG host communities

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Basic Six pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State.
  • Only for indigene pupils of NLNG host communities.
  • Age must not be below 10 years and not exceed 12 years.
  • Applicants must not be beneficiaries of other awards or related to NLNG staff.

Required documents include:

  • First, second, and third term results for Basic 4, 5, and 6
  • A National Population Commission issued birth certificate
  • An attestation letter stamped and signed by the headmaster/headmistress of your current school.
  • An indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Community Chief.
  • A Local Government Area (LGA) identification letter.
  • A recent passport photograph (no glasses, not older than 3 months).
