About the Investment Banking Graduate Trainee Role
The Investment Banking Graduate Trainee will join the Investment Banking Team and support the execution of financial advisory and investment banking engagements.
The role involves financial analysis, market research, valuation, financial modelling, transaction analysis and preparation of reports and presentations for clients.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Support financial modelling, valuation and financial analysis
- Conduct company, industry and market research
- Assist with investment banking and financial advisory transactions
- Prepare pitchbooks, presentations and financial reports
- Support the preparation of information memoranda
- Assist with due diligence and analysis of financial and operational information
- Support the preparation and review of transaction documents
- Monitor financial markets, economic developments and industry trends
- Analyse financial and market data for investment and strategic decisions
- Prepare materials for client meetings and internal reports
- Maintain transaction and research databases
- Work with team members to deliver client engagements
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Or a related discipline
ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
Experience and Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have completed NYSC
- Have 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Have strong analytical and numerical skills
- Have good problem-solving ability
- Understand financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Have good research and report-writing skills
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be able to work effectively with large volumes of information
- Have knowledge of Nigerian financial and capital markets
