Position 1: Architect – Internship (NYSC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and passionate NYSC Architect to join our design team. The ideal candidate will assist in developing innovative architectural and interior design solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects while collaborating with senior designers and project leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, layout plans, and design presentations.
• Support the design team in developing functional and aesthetic design concepts.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client briefings.
• Conduct research on design trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Currently serving as an NYSC Corper deployed to Lagos.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong creative skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Position 2: Civil Engineer – Internship (NYSC)

• Qualification: BSc / HND in Civil Engineering or related field

Job Summary

The Black Pelican Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Corper to join its technical team.

The intern will assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction and interior fit-out projects, supporting the company’s mission of delivering world-class lifestyle solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, coordination, and implementation under supervision.
• Prepare structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors for seamless execution.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the project supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Currently serving as an NYSC Corper deployed to Lagos.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
