As we undertake a comprehensive brand refresh and begin expanding across multiple digital channels, we are seeking a capable and forward-thinking individual to support our content and growth initiatives.
Role Summary
- We are looking for a Content Strategist & Growth Assistant to contribute to content development, audience insights, platform expansion, and brand evolution.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong writing abilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to digital storytelling.
- This role requires versatility, creativity, and consistency.
- The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder to support content production across our blog and social channels, including WordPress, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, while contributing to audience growth, SEO optimisation, and overall brand direction.
Responsibilities of the Remote Content Creator/Writer at Everything Adulting Media
Content Strategy & Development
- Produce well-written, SEO-optimised blog posts aligned with the brand’s themes and standards
- Draft engaging LinkedIn content for both the Founder and the brand
- Support ideation, scripting, and caption writing for Instagram and TikTok content
- Contribute to the development and management of a structured editorial calendar
- Assist in defining and refining content categories, tone of voice, and brand messaging
Brand Expansion & Rebranding Support
- Participate in the ongoing rebranding process, including research and content restructuring
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation
- Assist in shaping the brand’s long-term direction and digital presence
Audience Engagement & Growth
- Develop audience surveys, polls, and insight-gathering tools
- Monitor platform engagement and propose data-informed growth strategies
- Research potential monetisation pathways (newsletter expansion, partnerships, sponsored content, etc.)
Operational & Administrative Support
- Manage content documentation, files, and workflow processes
- Provide weekly summaries detailing progress, insights, and recommendations
- Participate in scheduled virtual check-ins and strategy meetings (primarily in the evenings)
Essential Requirements
The following criteria are mandatory for this role:
- Demonstrably strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to produce clear, compelling, and brand-aligned content
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing practices
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- Ability to conduct online research and analyse digital trends
- Strong organisational skills and consistency in meeting deadlines
- A portfolio or samples showcasing creative or professional work (any format is acceptable: writing, graphic design, video content, social content, articles, essays, captions, or other creative outputs)
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates who meet the essential requirements and additionally possess the following will be at an advantage:
- Educated to Degree Level
- Experience in content creation, communications, digital marketing, journalism, or related fields
- Experience with simple content management or productivity tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, Canva, Google Workspace)
- Knowledge of SEO tools or analytics
- Experience creating or managing social media content for brands
