About the Samsung SDI – SNU SSBT Program
The SNU-Samsung SDI Battery Track (SSBT) is designed to nurture future leaders in the battery and secondary battery field. Scholars benefit from:

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be prospective or current Master’s/PhD students at SNU in 2026.
- For Master’s applicants: Have at least two semesters remaining at the time of application.
- For PhD applicants: Have completed coursework, with at least two semesters left and the ability to graduate within two years.
- Be majoring in battery/secondary battery-related fields, including:
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Chemical and Biological Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Chemistry (College of Natural Sciences)
- Or other related departments.
- Be willing to seek employment with Samsung SDI after graduation.
