Job Description
We are seeking smart, analytical, and motivated individuals to join our team as Statisticians. The ideal candidates will be graduates of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Industrial Mathematics with a strong interest in data analysis, numerical problem-solving, and analytical reasoning.
As a Statistician at ValueJet, you will support data-driven decision-making across multiple departments to enhance operational efficiency, monitor performance, and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze relevant data to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Develop statistical models, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Assist in identifying patterns, trends, and insights that enhance business operations.
- Present analytical findings in clear and understandable formats to relevant teams.
- Support the creation and implementation of data-driven strategies within the company.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to execute assigned tasks efficiently.
- Participate in training and development programs designed to build your analytical capacity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Industrial Mathematics.
- Must have completed the NYSC program.
- Age: Not more than 30 years.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools/software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI) is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
No prior work experience is required. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to build the necessary skills for the role.
