Tech4Dev is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join its Strategic Programs Unit (PMO). The successful candidate will support programme monitoring, reporting, and performance management by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive decision-making and programme impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain programme dashboards and data visualization tools across PMO projects.
• Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple project sources, including field teams, MEL officers, and hub-level systems.
• Manage the central project data repository while ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility.
• Produce regular reports, trend analyses, and performance summaries for the MEL Manager and senior leadership.
• Support the development and management of digital data collection tools such as KoboCollect, ODK, CommCare, or similar platforms.
• Automate data flows and reporting pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Communications and MEL teams to translate complex datasets into compelling visual stories and reports.
• Contribute accurate and well-presented programme statistics for donor reporting.
• Train field staff and programme officers on data collection tools and data quality standards.
• Identify data anomalies and quality issues and escalate them for timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), or Data Management.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with mobile data collection platforms such as KoboCollect, ODK, CommCare, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
