About the Graduate Trainee Program
The Telmek Graduate Trainee Program is a structured 12-month development initiative created to prepare the next generation of energy professionals through practical learning, technical exposure, mentorship, and hands-on industry experience.
Successful candidates will undergo:
- Intensive technical training
- Engineering rotations across key departments
- Hands-on operational assignments
- Exposure to real-life energy infrastructure projects
- Mentorship from experienced industry professionals
Trainees will gain practical experience in:
- Off-grid power generation
- Power distribution systems
- Operations and maintenance

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Have a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) from a recognized university
- Have completed the mandatory NYSC programme
- Possess strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Added Advantage
- Knowledge of CAD software/tools
