Qualifications & Experience

• Professor: Ph.D. in relevant field with at least 12 years of teaching/research experience, and substantial publications in reputable journals.
• Senior Lecturer: Ph.D. with a minimum of 6 years’ experience and evidence of publications.
• Lecturer I: Ph.D. with at least 3 years of teaching or research experience.
• Lecturer II: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the relevant field.
• Assistant Lecturer: Master’s degree with evidence of research capability.

For College of Health Sciences positions:

• MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualification with registration with MDCN.
• Nursing candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science and valid NMCN license.

Salary Structure:

• Professor: CONUASS 7 (₦8,694,848 – ₦11,074,720)
• Senior Lecturer: CONUASS 5 (₦6,025,974 – ₦9,856,056)
• CONUASS 4 (₦4,582,487 – ₦6,806,438)
• Lecturer II: CONUASS 3 (₦3,428,636 – ₦5,004,750)
• Assistant Lecturer: CONUASS 2 (₦2,497,037 – ₦3,557,330)
