Governance for Women By Women Fellowship 2026 | Empowering Women in Governance & Public Accountability
Applications are now open for the Governance for Women By Women Fellowship, an initiative by Tracka and BudgIT designed to equip women with practical skills in governance, accountability, and civic engagement.
The fellowship aims to empower women to take an active role in promoting public accountability by building their capacity in budget tracking, project monitoring, and civic education. Through this 2–3 month virtual programme, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and network needed to drive transparency and improve public service delivery in their communities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be women working with or affiliated with a Civil Society Organization (CSO), media organization, or advocacy group
- Have an interest in budget tracking, project monitoring, and civic education
- Be available to participate in the 2–3 month virtual fellowship
Focus States
The fellowship is open to eligible women in the following states:
- Lagos
- Kwara
- Delta
- Gombe
- Katsina
- Enugu
