About the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship

The TY Danjuma Foundation is a private, independent philanthropic organization established in 2008 by General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma. Based in Abuja, Nigeria, the Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life of disadvantaged individuals and communities across Africa.

Launched in 2011, the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship supports exceptional African students admitted to leading MBA programmes around the world. Since its inception, the scholarship has benefited students from several African countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.

The scholarship is open to all successful African applicants admitted to any of the Financial Times’ top 10 ranked business schools, regardless of their country of residence.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an African country.
  • Have received an offer of admission to an MBA programme at one of the Financial Times’ top 10 ranked business schools.

Scholarship Benefits

Award payments are typically made before the annual intake date of the recipient’s business school.
