The AWS AI & ML Scholars Program is designed to help 100,000 learners globally gain foundational knowledge in AI and Machine Learning.

The program is powered by AWS Skill Builder and developed by AWS experts to provide:

No prior knowledge of AI, ML, or programming is required. The program starts from the basics and gradually builds your skills.

Program Structure

The program is divided into two main phases:

Phase 1: Challenge Phase

All applicants are automatically enrolled in this phase.

During this stage, you will:

• Learn the fundamentals of Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Build your own AI-powered applications
• Gain hands-on experience using AWS tools
• Complete guided learning modules and practical exercises

At the end of this phase:

• All participants receive a 3-month AWS Skill Builder subscription
• Top-performing learners are selected for the next stage

Phase 2: Udacity Nanodegree (Fully Funded)

The top 4,500 learners from the Challenge Phase will advance to this stage.

Selected participants will:

• Receive a fully funded Udacity Nanodegree scholarship
• Dive deeper into AI, ML, and Generative AI concepts
• Work on real-world, portfolio-ready projects
• Build job-ready technical skills aligned with industry needs

Learning Tracks

Applicants will choose one of three specialized tracks:

• AI Programmer
• Agentic AI Business Professional
• Agent Developer

Each track is designed to provide practical, career-relevant skills depending on your interests.

Tools & Technologies You’ll Learn

Participants will gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant AWS tools, including:

• PartyRock – Build AI applications using natural language (no coding required)
• Amazon Bedrock – Work with powerful foundation AI models
• Amazon QuickSight – Data visualization and analytics

These tools are used in real-world AI development, giving you practical exposure beyond theory.
