Unilever Nigeria is inviting applications for the Future-X Import and Export (ImpEx) Internship Program 2026, a 1-year internship opportunity under the Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassadors Program (FUCAP).
This opportunity is designed for graduates and undergraduates who want to gain practical work experience in import and export operations, logistics coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, shipment tracking, and supply chain processes within a leading FMCG company.
Unilever Nigeria is one of the major Fast-Moving Consumer Goods companies in the country, with operations across personal care, nutrition, and household brands. Some of its well-known brands include Closeup, Vaseline, and Knorr.
About the Internship
The Import and Export Internship gives selected candidates the opportunity to work within Unilever’s logistics and supply chain function. The intern will support shipment tracking, documentation, communication with clearing agents and suppliers, and coordination with Unilever’s global logistics partners.
This role is suitable for candidates who are analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and update shipment trackers from origin to delivery.
- Track container return and invoice settlement.
- Liaise with clearing agents, suppliers, banks, and Unilever’s logistics partners.
- Ensure timely documentation, dispatch, and shipment tracking.
- Ensure shipping documents, permits, and certificates are complete and up to date.
- Submit required documents at least 5 days before vessel arrival.
- Prepare, upload, and follow through with document signings.
- Monitor and escalate shipment delays, documentation issues, and compliance risks.
- Support container deposit and bond tracking.
- Support financial postings and process improvement within the ImpEx function.

- Availability to work full-time for the full 1-year duration.
