Program Details

The internship will take place at the UNDP Information and Technology Management (ITM) Unit in Copenhagen. ITM supports UNDP Country Offices across more than 170 countries, providing ICT solutions, digital learning, and green energy support to accelerate global development.

UNDP is seeking People Development Interns with knowledge or interest in areas such as:

  • Onboarding & People Management
  • Leadership Development
  • Capability & Career Development
  • Data & Knowledge Management
  • Evaluation
  • Communication

Available Position

UNDP is recruiting 10 People Development Interns for its Copenhagen office.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet one of the educational conditions:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program; OR
  • In the final year of a first university degree (Bachelor’s level or equivalent); OR
  • Recently graduated (must begin internship within one year of graduation).

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign) is an added advantage.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, HTML5) is an asset.
  • Applicants from any country can apply.

Internship Duration & Benefits

  • Duration: 6 months (February 2 – July 31, 2026)
  • Stipend: Approximately $1000 per month (based on Copenhagen rates)
  • Monthly payments; part-time interns receive prorated stipends.
