Job Description
We are seeking a Veterinary & Laboratory Assistant (Male) to join our team at Florienam Head Office, Ogun State. The ideal candidate will support veterinary operations and laboratory procedures, ensuring animal health and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- The Veterinary & Laboratory Assistant will work closely with the veterinarian to support daily operations in diagnosis, treatment, and laboratory procedures.
- Assisting the veterinarian in diagnosis, treatment, and vaccination programs.
- Supporting laboratory testing, experiments, and record-keeping.
- Monitoring animal health, reporting concerns promptly, and ensuring proper care.
- Maintaining compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Contributing to research and laboratory projects as required.
Requirements:
- HND in Animal Protection and Health or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of animal health management, diagnostics, and laboratory practices.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Keen attention to detail with excellent record-keeping ability.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
