Applications are open for the WID x Busha Intro to Web3 Squad 5.0 Training, a beginner-friendly programme designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Web3, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance.
The training is organized by Women in DeFi in partnership with Busha to help more women gain access to Web3 education, build confidence in blockchain-related fields, and prepare for further learning opportunities within the Women in DeFi community.
About Women in DeFi
Women in DeFi is a pan-African nonprofit organization focused on empowering women through education, access, and leadership in blockchain and decentralized finance.
The organization works to bridge the gender gap in Web3 by equipping women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead, build, and innovate across the global blockchain ecosystem.
About Busha
Busha is an SEC-licensed digital assets platform founded in 2019. The platform makes it easier for individuals and businesses to buy, sell, and manage cryptocurrency across emerging markets.
About the Training
The Intro to Web3 Training is a 4-week programme created to teach the foundational principles of Web3 and decentralized finance.
It is a mandatory introductory training for Women in DeFi community members before they can proceed to the WID Skill-Up Programme. Participants will first learn the basics of blockchain technology before selecting a specialized focus area during the Skill-Up Programme.
